God’s vision for the world—whole, harmonious, and flourishing.
God’s vision for the world—whole, harmonious, and flourishing.
Sin is what happens when God’s creation drifts away from his original vision.
The hardships we face are not divine punishment. They are the natural result of a world that has separated itself from God’s love.
Sin is the constant pull toward disorder.
Sin is the slow unraveling of God’s perfect design.
Sin is humanity's rejection of God’s love.
Sin is the slow unraveling of God’s perfect design.
Sin is humanity's rejection of God’s love.
Jesus is greater than sin.
Where sin breaks down, Jesus restores.
Where sin destroys, Jesus heals.
Where sin leads to death, Jesus brings life.
Where sin destroys, Jesus heals.
Where sin leads to death, Jesus brings life.
We get so fixated on the problem that we forget to talk about the solution.
Sin plays out in three ways:
• Sin done by us.
• Sin done to us.
• And sin done around us.
• Sin done by us.
• Sin done to us.
• And sin done around us.
Jesus became like us so we could become like Him.
The crucifixion of Jesus was more than a religious martyrdom—it is the turning point for all of human history.
The cross changes everything.
Atonement
Jesus on the cross is the ultimate revelation of how massive, how unconditional, and how powerful God’s love is for His creation.
Jesus loses, so we can win.
Jesus lived the way humanity was always meant to live.
What happens when the full force of perfect, sinless love collides head-on with sin and death?
Love wins.
Love wins.
Salvation is something Jesus accomplished on our behalf in the past, is working out in us in the present, and will complete in the future.
Because of Jesus...
• We are not defined by our mistakes.
• Death is not the end of our story.
• All things will be made new.
• We are not defined by our mistakes.
• Death is not the end of our story.
• All things will be made new.
