See Genesis 28:3-4

See Galatians 4:4
• True religion comes not from human’s pursuit of God, but from God’s pursuit of humans.
• We can grow up in a God-fearing family without fearing God ourselves.
• The assurance of God’s presence should birth in us the same worshipful response and confidence it prompted in Jacob.
• God, by grace, visits us and promises us protection and provision, so that we might be a blessing to others.
• What Jacob’s dream promised became a reality in the enfleshment of Jesus Christ.
• Jesus is the TRUE Bethel, the house of God, Immanuel, God with us."
“Every morning, Christians may anoint God’s Anointed with the fresh oil of devotion, and say, 'This is the gate of heaven. God is in this place.'”
