As a kingdom minded church, we believe that the ultimate fulfillment of our purpose is to be vessels of His grace; giving of ourselves just as He completely gave Himself up for us. The life of a Christ Follower is not about being a spectator for a couple of hours on Sunday. Rather, we open the flood gates of heaven when we sacrificially give of our talents and time.

Imprecatory Psalms are 5; 10; 17; 35; 58; 59; 69; 70; 79; 83; 109; 129; 137; and 140.
Imprecatory psalms are those in which the author calls down calamity, destruction, and God’s anger and judgment on his enemies.
Imprecatory psalms are those in which the author calls down calamity, destruction, and God’s anger and judgment on his enemies.
When studying the imprecatory psalms, it is important to note that these psalms were not written out of vindictiveness or a need for personal vengeance. Instead, they are prayers that keep God’s justice, sovereignty, and protection in mind.
Psalm 137 is in the context of the Jewish exile in Babylon (Psalm 137:1) where they had been taken as slaves after the Babylonians burned down the city of Jerusalem.
“The Psalms are an anatomy of all parts of the soul.”

The Psalmist is Honest about His Anger.
The Psalmist Prays His Anger to God.
The Psalmist Restricts His Anger.
God is the only judge that has all the knowledge to judge.
God is the only judge that has all the power to judge.
God is the only judge that has all the right to judge.
God is the only judge that has all the power to judge.
God is the only judge that has all the right to judge.
All sin will be judged, either at the cross of Christ, or at the second coming of Christ.
How can we reconstruct our anger considering the cross?
A Reconstructed View of our Anger.
A Reconstructed Type and Time for our Anger.
A Reconstructed Posture for our Anger.
