1. Bear One Another’s BURDENS
A. Free pardon or forgiveness is the substance of the GOSPEL, the work of God in perfection.
B. Bearing with each other’s failings, forgiving offences and helping someone in their WEAKNESSES can help to remind us of what the Lord has done for us.
C. May we as a Church Family become MATURE enough that when we see a brother or sister in the Lord fall or sin, that we do not respond by sinning also, but instead pray for them and be led by the Holy Spirit.
Through careful study we find out that the word LOAD in this verse (Gal 6:5) is speaking of an individual burden that cannot be transferred to someone else.
Here are some EXAMPLES of personal responsibilities
A. Our FAMILIES
B. Our CHURCHES
C. Our Personal HOLINESS
2. What Does Giving to the Truly NEEDY Look Like?
What is required in order to DISPENSE this duty faithfully?
A. EVALUATION—This means that we have a high respect for the care of members within the Church Family.
B. COMPASSION—This means to be aware and even deeply moved by the various burdens of the Church Family.
C. ENCOURAGEMENT—This means the courage and boldness to acknowledge Church Family in all situations.
D. CONTRIBUTE—This means to share in temporal things in a way that is suitable to their necessities, needs and afflictions.
1) It’s for certain that by God’s PROVIDENCE in each of our lives that we have individual rights to the use and disposal of the earthly things we have entrusted to us.
2) If the Lord has entrusted us with our PORTION and our brother or sister’s PORTION, what responsibility do we have with what we give to the Church and/or to others?
3) It should be said that this DUTY of the Church body does not only lie with those who are rich or those who have plenty, but this PRINCIPLE is for those who only have what they may work for that week. Out of that portion they ought to spare something for those who cannot work.
Discussion Questions:
1. How do we handle people when they mess up? (Do we have a plan?)

2. How can we walk in true holiness?

3. When we consider giving to the truly needy, what comes to your mind and how do you proceed?

4. What level of compassion would you say you have for those who are in need? What types of needs seem to move you the most?

Next Step:
• How would you describe your personal attention to selfless giving and responsible boundaries?
