The Creation of All Things
Every worldview must give their explanation of how they believe everything came into existence. There are many conflicting ideas and philosophies that try to explain the existence of all things. God, in His infinite wisdom, has given us the answer to “What?” and “Why?”. Beginnings matter. Our study will help you understand God’s love for you. John 17: Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true [supreme and sovereign] God, and [in the same manner know] Jesus [as the] Christ whom You have sent. AMP

God desires a relationship with you.
The Almighty God, who made everything on Earth did so with you and me in mind.

Views on the character of God:
a. The “angry avenger”. Not love but violence and hatred.
b. A “mystical spirit”. Elusive. Mysterious, impersonal.
i. Energy force that hides from people.
ii. “I’m so glad the universe brought you to us!”
iii. A few through occultic practices get to crack the code to know him/her/they/them/it
c. An “apathetic creator”. A supreme being who has no interest in the affairs of man. Wound up the clock @ creation then stepped away. Not involved at all in our lives.
d. A “Not-so-powerful” god. Fashioned in our own image. Tolerant of any and every sincere religious system. Even if opposing views are diametrically opposed to each other, they are both true. In fact, all views are true.

In the beginning, hydrogen pressed into a ball of matter, somehow exploded and sent dust, gasses and radiation into the universe.
Genesis answers 3 foundational questions every worldview must answer.
a. Where did this amazing earth come from?
b. Why is it here? Why am I here?
c. Who am I?

1. The Bible tells us we can know God exists because of what we see in creation.
Arguments for the existence of God
1. The First-Cause or Cosmological Argument
a. The first-cause argument seeks to prove the existence of God from the fact that the Universe exists.
b. If the universe had a beginning, then there must be something outside it that brought it into existence.

2. The Teleological argument or the argument from design
a. This argument seeks to prove the existence of God from the fact that the universe is ordered.
"We’re just one out of millions of planets where life is likely to exist. You’ll hear this claim more and more. Don’t believe it. Even the best planets found so far don’t come close to reaching the minimum requirements, and the list is longer than you think."
"A powerful motive drives the ongoing, costly search for life on other worlds. If life is unique to the earth, then that makes our planet special and implies a Creator. But this thought repels unregenerate minds. If life arose naturally as they believe, then we should expect to find life on many other planets throughout the universe"
"Scientists have coined a new term, exobiology, to refer to the study of life beyond the earth. Many conferences and papers have been dedicated to exobiology, though there is no evidence that life exists on any other planets. Apparently, exobiology is a science for which there is no data".….Dr. Danny R. Faulkner on January 1, 2014Featured in Answers Magazine

3. The Moral Argument
a. The moral argument seeks to prove the existence of God from the fact that there are moral laws.
Romans 2: 14 When Gentiles, who do not have the Law [since it was given only to Jews], do [c]instinctively the things the Law requires [guided only by their conscience], they are a law to themselves, though they do not have the Law. 15 They show that the [d]essential requirements of the Law are written in their hearts; and their conscience [their sense of right and wrong, their moral choices] bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or perhaps defending them. Postmodernism is a worldview that asserts that external, absolute truth cannot be known through reason or science because truth is either non-existent or unknowable.
Experience is more reliable than reason
Truth is created not discovered.
Contrary to the postmodern thought, we do not create truth, we discover it.
Belief does not determine reality; reality exists apart from belief
