Sermon Overview
We are in the midst of a sermon series entitled A Disruptive God where we look at the calling of each of the 12 disciples and how their lives are disrupted through their calling. This week we will focus on three of the lesser-known disciples, James the Less, Simon the Zealot, and Judas. In Scripture they are referred to by different names to distinguish them for the other disciples. James is known as James the Less, or the son of Alphaeus. Simon is known as Simon the Zealot. Judas is referenced in Scripture as the son of James or with a disclaimer, Judas (not Judas Iscariot.) Yet as obscure as they were, they were part of a force that changed the world.
