His baptism shows he identifies with us, taking on our condition in order to redeem us.
Yet, He chose to be baptized to fully identify with humanity.
This is a reminder that Jesus walks with us. He doesn’t stay distant. He steps into our world and meets us where we are.
How comforting is that?
Whatever you’re facing today, Jesus understands. He’s not watching from the sidelines He’s right there with you.

Prayer is powerful. When we pray, we invite God into our situation.
This moment is one of the clearest showing of the trinity in Scripture.
We see
The Son (Jesus) in the water: The Word in flesh, beginning His public ministry.
The Spirit descending like a dove:
Anointing Christ for His mission, fulfilling Isaiah 61:1: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.”
The Father speaking from heaven:
Declaring divine approval and affirming Jesus’ identity as the beloved Son.

You are loved by God, not because of what you do, but because of who you are.
Jesus waited for God’s perfect timing to step into His purpose.
Sometimes, we feel like we’re behind or running late in life but God’s timing is always right.
If you feel like you’ve missed your moment, remember.
Jesus began at the right time, and so will you. Trust God’s timing.
