Applying God’s Word through Journey Groups, family devotions, or personal meditation:
1. How do you feel about this rich man (sorry, disappointed, upset, frustrated, other)?
2. Read Mark 10:17-31. What stood out to you most from the sermon? Was there a particular verse or point that resonated with you?
3. How would you respond if Jesus said to you, “Go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
4. What would be most difficult to part with?
5. What would it look like for someone to truly serve God and not money?
6. What does Jesus mean when he says to His disciples, “How difficult it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”
7. On what basis is it possible for anyone to enter the kingdom of God?
8. How can we have money but not find our security and confidence in it?
9. What are the reasons it is difficult to live daily for eternity instead of for this earthly life?

Missions Trip Pizza Ranch Fundraiser—Feb 17; 4-9 PM
Join us for dinner tomorrow night in Storm Lake! All tips and a portion of all receipts will support our upcoming trip to Honduras/El Salvador, helping dig a well to provide water for an entire community.

KIDS FOR CHRIST--EVERY WEDNESDAY IN MARCH, 6:00 to 7:45 PM
We'll go on an exciting journey filled with stories, songs, and Bible adventures. Along the way, we'll learn that God's Word is TRUE, COMFORTING, SURPRISING, and LIFE CHANGING! He loves us! Supper will be served too. Free fun for all kids, ages four through those in fourth grade. Register your friends too! We'll run KFC from 6:00 to 7:45 PM. For more information call 712-200-2200.
FAITH RISING WOMEN'S CONFERENCE--March 14 & 15
At Faith Rising 2025 we will explore the Bible’s call to let praise be continually on our lips ……yes, even through the most difficult times of our lives. Numerous ladies from our Summit Church family will share their stories and experiences of seeking to glorify and praise God as they navigated illness, grief, disappointment, parenting, and other life events.
Our Summit Worship Team, joined by Claudia Rihner (CrossRidge EFC Worship Leader) will lead worship and Brad & Joy Smith will help us look at practical ways we can come alongside those walking through their own valleys of life. You’ll also have options for a breakout session before lunch. All this and time for connection and fellowship! Throughout the weekend we’ll hear from Kelly Currie, Mary Sennert, Stacy Bezoni, Kristen Fox, Jill Engelmann, Melanie Hansen, and Olivia DeRoos. Just to name a few!
Invite a friend, or a few friends, to join you for this weekend of renewal and connection! Cost is $15 per person.
