Under the umbrella of God's absolute sovereignty, He has granted us a small measure of our own sovereignty.

God has given us each a measure of freedom and responsibility to choose.

Nephilim = “giants” or “fallen ones”

My next step with God this week is to…

- Take some time this week to think about God's heart toward us. Thank Him and praise Him that He cares so deeply for us. (Book recommendation: “Gentle & Lowly; the heart of Christ for sinners and sufferers” by Dane Ortlund)

- Evaluate my own life - attitudes, priorities and choices.
- What in my life brings God joy?
- What in my life brings God sorrow?

- If I can do it honestly, repent of anything in my life that I know brings God sorrow (attitudes, priorities, choices). With God's help, commit to change so that my life more consistently brings joy to God.
