Loneliness & True Friendship
John 15:12-16

Loneliness is not the same as being alone.

Loneliness is a felt lack of being valued, known and cared for.

Thin Relationships – shallow, transactional, and casual.

Thick Relationships – deep, loyal, and identity-shaping.

Loneliness comes not from sin but from the Image of God.

Friendship reflects God by a continual, free choice to love.

True friendship is self-giving and sacrificial

True friendship is self-disclosing and intimate

True friendship is not self-consumed but missional

The model for friendship is Jesus himself.

Salvation Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for drawing me to Yourself from my darkness, my sin, and my shame. I repent of my sins, and I ask You to forgive me. I welcome You into my heart, and I surrender my future into Your hands. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit, and help me to be a reflector of Your light to those around me. Thank You for including me in Your family. Amen
