How could Adam possibly have lived 930 years??!!

IDEAL ENVIRONMENT
·Some scholars believe that Adam and his descendants lived so long because God created a perfect environment for humans. This environment was free from sin and decay. (True? Originally, yes, but not all 930 years.)
·The lifespan of a living creature is more dependent on its environment than its design.

ADAM WAS MADE TO BE IMMORTAL
·Some say that Adam and Eve were made to be immortal before sin.
·Sin broke the covenant relationship with God, which led to death.

GOD LIMITED HUMAN LIFESPANS
·Some say that God limited human lifespans to prevent humans from doing too much damage with their sinful lives.
·Genesis 6:3 says, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years”.

LIFESPANS SHORTENED AFTER THE FLOOD
•Some researchers say that lifespans systematically dropped off after Noah, who lived to be 950 years old.

- Are my hopes tied to the superficial 2-D world of temporary things? Or has God given me the ability to see in 3-D?

- Would God say of me, “_______ lived ___ years and then he/she died.” Or would God say of me, “_______ walked with God.”

- Are any of the 3 main points today holding me back from becoming all that God originally designed me to be?
