Instruction
Do not treasure material treasures (v.19)
They can depreciate and decay
They are vulnerable to volatility and vandalism
Do treasure heavenly treasures (v.20)
They can’t depreciate or decay
They’re not vulnerable to volatility and vandalism

Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (v.21)

The eye is the lamp of the body (v.22a)
Explanation
A healthy (generous) eye = a healthy (bright) body (v.22b)
A bad (cloudy, stingy) eye = an unhealthy (dark) body (v.23)
