https://kearneyefree.com/giveWe all experience evil because God chose to create free people, not programmed robots.
Our reaction to evil is evidence for God and goodness.
1. God may allow some evil, even if we can’t see thepurpose.
2. If you are concerned about evil and suffering, stop doing evil.
3. God is not immune to evil and pain. He entered in, and He empathizes.
1. Read aloud Romans 2:5-15. Take a moment to read the passage again in silence, reflect, and write one observation.
2. What does this passage teach us about God and people?
3. What scriptures help you understand the text and message? (i.e., Exodus 20:1-18; Judges 17:6; Job 1:20-22; Ecclesiastes 3:11-14, 7:14, 12:13-14; Jeremiah 2:13; Mark 10:17-22; John 11; Romans 1:18-25; Hebrews 4:14-16)
4. What comes to mind when you encounter the word "evil"? Why?
5. What resonated most from Adrian's message? Why so?
6. How would you help a pre-Christian process evil and our good God?
7. Write down what God is impressing upon you to do in response to the passage or discussion.
For next week’s message: read and reflect on Romans 5:1-10.
