INEXPRESSIBLE: Love Always Reaches Out
Two times in scripture (1 John 4:8 and 16), we are told that "God is love." Love is very much the nature of God. It is, in fact, one of the main words God uses to reveal himself and his character to Moses in Exodus 34. God is a God who abounds in love and faithfulness and who maintains love to thousands. Exodus 34.6-7 is the most often quoted passage in the Old Testament. Clearly God wants us to understand that, at the core, he is a God of Love. In this sermon series, we will explore different facets of God's steadfast, loyal love and the ways God's love engages us and all creation.

Almighty God, whose Son our Savior Jesus Christ is the light of the world: Grant that your people, illumined by your Word and Sacraments, may shine with the radiance of Christ's glory, that he may be known, worshiped, and obeyed to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, now and forever.
