What are some of the bad ideas you have heard about money that people have believed which are rooted in misunderstandings of the Bible?
Why do you think we are so uncomfortable talking about money in the church? Do many people believe that faith and finance ought to be kept separate?
Do you think God cares about what we do with our money, or only wants our heart?
What are some of the dangers of believing a poverty gospel? What are the dangers of believing a prosperity gospel?
Read Psalm 24:1 again. Do you think we live as though we truly believe everything in the world is the Lord's?
What do you think about the idea that God will bless you financially when you give? If He doesn't bless us with material wealth, has the Lord broken His promises to us?
