Registrations are open for Whitehall’s Winter Blast! If you have a student in 3rd-12th grade make sure to sign them up. It’s a time for them to grow spiritually, have a ton of fun with friends, play crazy games, and eat lots of yummy camp food! 1. To resist gossip we must acknowledge the power of our tongues.
2. To resist gossip we must acknowledge that our tongues are two sided.
3. To resist gossip we must attempt to control our tongues.

2. Read the following proverbs and discuss the wisdom given in each of them for not rushing into judgment. Can
you give an example from your life (positive or negative)
for each one? Proverbs 14:15; 18:13; Proverbs 18:17.
3. Read Matthew 7:1-5. How does pride distort our judgment? How can we cultivate humility? How can we cultivate love?
