Local: Pray for people in your world that are looking for true purpose and direction in 2025.
Church: Pray for our February 2nd public launch of Corner Church Downtown and for a healthy Body of Christ in every community!.
All 2024 Corner Church contributions need to be postmarked or submitted online by December 31st in order to receive 2024 tax benefits. Contribution receipts will be distributed by the end of January. This is a great season to setup recurring giving at corner.church/give. Recurring giving helps the church set and keep our operating budget. Thanks for investing in our body of Christ!

Next Sunday, January 5, is a first Sunday of the month which means we will have a Community Breakfast. Please bring a brunch item to share.

There will not be Communal Prayer this Tuesday. We will resume on Tuesday, January 7 at 9am in the Corner Coffee North Loop’s mixed use space in the basement. Everyone is welcome!

Join the Cairo Missions missions trip prayer team. We have a team of six people going to Cairo on a short term missions trip in February. Our goal as a church is to visit every missionary we support on field no less than once a decade. We currently support 19! Doing the math, we need to be going, and going often. One way you can be a support is join our prayer team. Receive requests before we go and while we are there. Please sign up right now by using the QR code! On Sunday, January 12 the team will be making breakfast at Corner Church North Loop. All donations will go towards this cost of the teams trip. Thanks for donating!

Sunday, February 2 will be Corner Church Downtown’s official launch of weekly Sunday services: 10am at Corner Coffee Downtown, 905 Nicollet Mall, MPLS. Mark your calendar, and please be praying and be inviting people from your world to be a part!
Dialogue Question:

What are some things that you have, experience, participate in, and/or consume that others (globally) would love to have?
Dialogue Question:

What could have interrupted this beautiful story?

A group of under-resourced people go to a complicated place (wild Antioch).
They have intentional relationship with the people there (discipling the Greeks).
God blesses it and the Body of Christ forms (a great number believed).
The Body of Christ is invested in (Barnabas and Paul, for a year).
They hear of the needs of others and they share as they can (sending resources to Judea to provide during the famine).
Dialogue Question:

Writing Moment:
Who is in your world?

Star all the people where you see things in the grey box happening to some degree

Intentional relationship
Blessed by God
Investing over time
Full circle

What element(s) would it be great to have or add in these relationships?

Dialogue Question:

What do you see and feel as you do this process?
Dialogue Questions:

How are you compelled to be intentional in relationships?
How are you compelled to pray?
How are you compelled to keep going?
How are you compelled to bring it beyond us to them?
Take It Deeper Questions
Read Matthew 28:16-20.
Would you rather be overly gullible or overly cynical? Why?
How was it possible, after all this time with Jesus, after His death and now resurrection, that some still doubted?
What does it tell you that Jesus didn’t single out the doubters in this moment?
What connections do you see between Jesus’ birth and this moment?
How are you challenged, focused, encouraged, and/or confused by this text?
