What exactly is peace?


Peace is not stress, worry, being anxious, or in conflict with.

Peace is defined as a state of calm; freedom from strife or discord, harmony with others, a mutual agreement between countries to end conflict.


Peace is more than the absence of conflict it is the presence of Christ!

Peace had finally come to Earth in the form of God in the flesh – Jesus!

He is our Prince of Peace!

He took our punishment to give us Peace!

We always need to be reminded to be joyful in all circumstances!


Obeying God is the first step on the path to peace.


Peace is:
•Found in focusing on God’s promises
•Found when we start obeying God’s commands
•Comes from the assurance of answered prayer
•Must be Active and not Passive
•Is more than the absence of conflict
•Is only truly seen and understood when we trust in, follow and abide in Christ!

Psalm 34:14 says we are to “seek peace and pursue it”.

If you know Jesus, you know Peace

If you Don’t know Jesus, then you don’t know true Peace
