Comfort is something we’re not just holding onto—it’s something we’re chasing.
Was Jesus born so that we could live comfortable lives?
• I need a Wonderful Counselor
• I need a Mighty God
• I need an Everlasting Father
• I need a Prince of Peace
• I need a Mighty God
• I need an Everlasting Father
• I need a Prince of Peace
Comfort is the absence of struggle; peace is the presence of God in the middle of it.
Life isn’t about the pursuit of comfort. It’s about the pursuit of Jesus.
Jesus is not the conveyor of comfort, He's the prince of peace.
Nothing under the sun can satisfy a soul that was made for what’s beyond the sun.
When you’re Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired—what’s the first thing you reach for, hoping it’ll give you
peace?
peace?
The Prince of Peace didn’t come wrapped in glory—He came wrapped in a blanket.
Peace didn’t look like what anyone expected.
• It looked like a baby, helpless and small.
• It looked like a Savior, beaten and bloodied.
• It looked like a cross, splintered and heavy.
• And it looked like an empty tomb, with another cloth—another blanket— folded neatly. “He is not here; He is risen.”

• Comfort is striving to make the season meaningful. Peace is surrendering to the One who already has.
• Comfort may quiet the chaos around you, but peace silences the chaos within you.
• If you’re chasing comfort, you’ll keep running. But if you embrace the Prince of Peace, you can finally rest.
• Comfort says, “Avoid the cross.” Peace says, “Pick it up and follow Me.”
• Comfort is temporary. Peace is eternal.
