1. Expect the unexpected
Mary’s encounter with the angel Gabriel reminds us that God’s will can complicate our lives (order/chaos).
Mary’s response teaches us that we can say “yes” to God’s will without all the answers to our questions.

Fear can save us and keep us alive (fight/flight)

Praise and thanksgiving lead to a posture of gratitude.
