Not Alone: The Story of Joseph
Have you ever felt like you were all alone? On the outside? No-one understands? Ever had to celebrate by yourself? The Bible says we are not alone. We might be lonely but we are never alone. From Genesis to the final chapter in Revelation, reoccurring themes say that God loves us, desires a relationship with us and is with us. Even when we’re alone. Sounds like a contradiction, doesn’t it? This Christmas, we’ll look at the lives of characters in the Christmas story that encountered Jesus when they least expected it.

The Curse of one of David’s descendants, Jeconiah
If Jesus is a descendant of Jeconiah, how can He be the Messiah?
1. Luke (3:31) gives the lineage of David through King David’s other son, Nathan.
a. Jesus is the legal Son of David Through Joseph,
b. Jesus is the physical Son of David Through Mary
2. Why does that matter?

iii. He meets all the qualifications for the Messiah!

God reveals next steps to His people, not in their time but in His time.
1. Not when they need it but when His time is right!
2. His time is always right on time.
Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive
