3. Read Luke 1:46-49
a) What does Mary’s declaration, “My soul magnifies the Lord,” reveal about her understanding of God’s greatness? (Psalm 34:3 and Psalm 103:1-5)
b) How can we cultivate a heart of worship in response to God’s blessings in our lives? (Ephesians 5:19-20)
c) What aspects of God’s character inspire your worship, as seen in Mary’s response to being chosen? (Exodus 15:11)
4. Read Luke 1:50-53
a) How does Mary’s song reflect God’s commitment to justice for the humble and oppressed? (Isaiah 61:1-3 and Psalm 146:7-9)

c) How does meditating on God’s mercy move us toward gratitude and humility? (Romans 11:33-36)
d) How does Mary’s faith in God’s promises shape her perspective on her role in His plan? (Hebrews 11:1 and 2 Corinthians 1:20)
e) What can we learn from Mary’s example about trusting God’s plan, even when it’s beyond our understanding? (Proverbs 3:5-6)
