Blessed To Be A Blessing

This holiday season, join us for our new series on generosity, “Blessed to be a Blessing.” As we approach Thanksgiving and Christmas, we’ll reflect on the blessings we’ve received and explore how we can make a meaningful difference by sharing with others. Through this four-part series, we’ll uncover the joy and purpose found in living with open hands and open hearts, embracing a lifestyle of giving that reflects God’s love. Discover how generosity can transform not only those we give to but our own lives, filling our hearts with joy and gratitude. Let’s come together this season to celebrate the true spirit of giving.

Part 4: Overflow Sunday

(Matthew 5:16 NIV) “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

(Acts 1:8 NIV) “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

(1 Corinthians 9:22 NLT) When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some.

Local Missions

We serve the practical needs of the people of our cities so that they in turn would open their hearts to God.

National Missions

(Acts 16:5 NIV) So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.

We invest in launching new churches and strengthening existing churches so that they in turn can reach the world.

International Missions

(Mark 16:15 NIV) He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

We focus on strategic missions so that every person in the world has the opportunity to hear the Good News.

Savannah Leadership Foundation

(Zechariah 8:4-5) 4 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each of them with cane in hand because of their age. 5 The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there.”

Through initiatives like SOAR Scholarship Program and Young Eagles Mentorship Program we are committed to building a stronger Savannah for future generations. .

Hope City Church

(Matthew 16:18 NIV) “I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”

We build life-giving local churches all across our region so that people can know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference.

Blessed to Be a Blessing

God blesses us with more than we need so we can be a blessing to others.

1. We have to know what the more is for.

(Genesis 12:2 NLT) “I will bless you…and you will be a blessing to others.”

2. When we bless others, God takes care of our needs.

There’s almost nothing God won’t do for the person who wants to help other people.

(Luke 18:29-30 GW) “I guarantee this. Anyone who gives up anything for the kingdom of God will certainly receive many times more in this life and will receive eternal life in the next world to come.”

3. The more God blesses us, the more He expects us to bless others.

(Luke 12:48 LB) “…Much is required from those to whom much is given. For their responsibility is greater.”

(Deuteronomy 21:17 NIV) He must acknowledge the son… as the firstborn by giving him a double share of all he has. That son is the first sign of his father’s strength. The right of the firstborn belongs to him.

(Hebrews 12:22-23 NIV) You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven.

(Ephesians 3:20-21) – Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
