The Gift of Peace

This Sunday, join us as Pastor Chuck continues our "A Gift for All" series with The Gift of Peace, a message that invites us to experience the calm assurance only Jesus can provide. In a world filled with noise, uncertainty, and closed doors, the Prince of Peace offers us a hope that transcends understanding. Through trust, surrender, and faith in God’s perfect plan, we can find rest amid life’s storms.

1 | Peace Among All Life’s Uncertainty
Peace isn’t the absence of uncertainty; it’s the presence of a certain God who holds our lives in His hands.
2 | Peace Through Purposeful Surrender
Ultimately, God’s peace is the comfort of His presence—knowing that, no matter what we encounter, we are held by the One who has already overcome the world.
Joseph surrendered his own desires and plans to God’s greater purpose. His peace came through obedience and trust, even in a situation that could have crushed his dreams.
What does that say to us? Stop trying to prove you are right and surrender to the one that is always right and in all things right!
Joseph’s story shows us peace results when we allow God to shape our lives, even in the most difficult moments.
3 | Peace when Life’s Doors Seem Closed
The closed doors led to the open door of God’s will.
Just as Mary and Joseph trusted in God’s provision despite the apparent setbacks, we are called to trust.
But even when the door seems shut, God’s plan is still in motion.
4 | Peace That Passes Human Understanding
His peace speaks louder than the noise of our problems.
As we journey through Advent, let’s unwrap the gift of peace, not just once a year, but every day:
- Peace in the face of uncertainty through trust in Jesus.
- Peace through purposeful surrender when our plans crumble and we trust God’s plan.
- Peace when doors close, knowing that God’s "No" leads to His perfect "Yes."
- Peace transcends understanding as we live with the Prince of Peace Himself.
