Difficulty isn’t the absence of the goodness of God, its the path that leads us to knowing the goodness of God.
God isn’t providing for you to be comfortable, He provides so you can become HOLY! The goal isn’t to look more like the world, its to look more like HIM!
God is less interested in your happiness and more interested in you Holiness.
What do you desire?
If you gauge goodness based on your circumstances rather than the beauty of the Lord, you will always be unsatisfied!
Until you truly believe God is good, that He alone is enough and He becomes your one desire. You will live your life in a perpetual state of dissatisfaction.
A proper foundation for thanksgiving not only looks to God as the rightful recipient of our thanks but as the very essence of true goodness.
How do we change our perspective and allow God to be our source of Goodness?
1. Develop an Intimacy with Jesus
If you want a joy that can’t be taken away, sit at His feet, and dwell in is presence!
2. Increase your awareness.
When we key in on the good things of God, they will start to become real and more frequent to us!
In all your ways, KNOW HIM! To know Him, is to know Goodness, To know Him, is to know deliverance, to know him is to know freedom, to know him is to know ABUNDANT LIFE!
When things are hard and your struggling to be thankful, pray and ask God to open your eyes!
