1. Jesus' Mission: Introducing the Kingdom of God to everyone, everywhere

Jesus' mission is not for God's people to escape this world but rather for God to redeem His good creation in a new heavens and a new Earth.

2. The Problem: People are lost, helpless and without hope

3. Jesus' Solution: He partners with people, forming the very beginnings of the church!

Jesus just told his followers (a couple chapters ago) to pray daily that His Kingdom come, His will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and then commissions them to be a part of that movement!
