This Week's Bulletin
Find out what's happening in the next couple of weeks!
https://sbcflint.org/this-weeks-bulletin/Luke 19:10 - “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
This was the mission statement for Christ’s life, put in its most simplest form. He intentionally sought out the lost, or those doomed to ruin and destruction, in order that He might rescue them from the danger they were in.

Jesus HAD to go through Samaria.
The Samaritan woman was broken and spiritually bankrupt. As we approach broken people to win them to the Lord, we need to address their reality, as well as the cause for their reality, which is brokenness/lack of relationship with God.
We need to address their need, point it out to them, and them give them the answer to their need (which is always God.)

Jesus offered her Living Water
“Jesus stood up and cried out, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” (John 7:37-39)
A gift that brings immediate life to our spiritually dry and dead hearts. And a gift that also brings ongoing refreshment - that helps to produce fruit in our lives - fruit such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control.
