Luke 17:11-15 MSG
It happened that as [Jesus] made his way toward Jerusalem, he crossed over the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he entered a village, ten men, all lepers, met him. They kept their distance but raised their voices, calling out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” Taking a good look at them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” They went and while still on their way became clean.

Dead in transgressions.
Futile in thinking.
Darkened in understanding.
Separated from God.

Separated from God.
Where are the other nine?
Too busy to be thankful.
Too cautious to be thankful.
Too self-centered to be thankful.
Too arrogant to be thankful.
God notices the grateful heart.
No more looking for weeds.
Measure the gifts of God.
You ought to be glad for the troubles on your job because they provide about half your income. If it were not for the things that go wrong, the difficult people with whom you deal, and the problems of your working day, someone could be found to handle your job for half of what you are being paid. So, start looking for more troubles. Learn to handle them cheerfully and with good judgment, as opportunities, rather than irritations and you will find yourself getting ahead at a surprising rate. For there are plenty of big jobs waiting for people who are not afraid of troubles. (Robert Updegraff)

About Gateway Church
At Gateway Church, our heart is simple: love God, love people. Everything we do centers around bringing these two together by helping people connect to God.
We are one church body with congregations planted throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and Jackson Hole, Wyoming; multiple prisons; and local gatherings around the world. Our faith is firmly rooted in the Bible, and we live out our faith by being submitted to and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
