Sermon Overview
For our final sermon on the series, Finding Your Bearing, we will consider how Jesus found His bearing when He returned from the wilderness to begin His ministry, and a reunion that should have
been joyful suddenly went very wrong. What started as a small-town boy returning home to the praise of His neighbors, unexpectantly changed when those same neighbors turned on Him and tried to kill Him. Life has a way of turning upside down when we least expect it. We will consider how Jesus handled this attempt of violence against him and how we can find our bearings when life abruptly goes south.
