For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

God wants all of us to serve.

1. Created to Serve

Ephesians 2:10 LB
It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.

Our service for God must come in submission to God.

2. Saved to serve.

2 Timothy 1:9 LB
It is he who saved us and chose us for his holy work…

4. Gifted to Serve

Jesus was the ultimate model for service!

The right attitude is this: Whatever, Whenever, However, I’m in.

We all have Primary, Secondary, Necessary calls to service.
Primary - this is serving in your sweet spot.
Secondary - this is doing something that you can do, but aren’t necessarily passionate about.
Necessary - this is something that needs to be done, and you can do it.

God is large and in charge and we are small and on call.

We need servers!

The blessing is in the doing.

If your knowledge of God's Word doesn't inspire you to take action in pursuit of God's call, you don't really know the Word.

Everyone can do something... And if we do what He has called us to, we will be blessed.

We GET to serve!

You have received Jesus, that is awesome, we celebrate that... now what are you doing to give Jesus away?
