North Platte Berean Church
Black Friday's Coming
What does the Christmas season mean to you? Unless we're careful, it often means overcommitting in both finances and time – buying too much and being run ragged by our packed schedules. So, we're taking a couple weeks before the crush of the season hits to consider how we can live out what Jesus called the greatest commandment: to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves. How can we be intentional in loving God and neighbor with our treasure and our time this Christmas season?

Baptisms
Baptism is a public witness of an internal reality, that the person has passed from death to life by trusting Jesus alone for salvation. Today we’re baptizing Brad Fletcher by Kaelee Fletcher (spouse), and Andrew Walker.

Next Week's Sermon
Today we talked about preparing for the coming crush of the demands on our finances. Next week we'll prime our hearts and explore how we can love God and love our neighbors in the holiday season using our limited resource of time. Here's the catch: if we don't intentionally consider this, decisions will be made for us - and they may ones we regret after the holidays!
