Faith is what matters in God's kingdom. It is how he "keeps score."

Faith is trusting in the provision, the ability, and the plan of God through his Son Jesus. It is entrusting your very life into the hands of the Father through following his Son with the help of this Spirit. And we know that faith without works is not faith. Therefore, faith is actively following Jesus. As we follow Jesus what we find is that our faith grows. What begins as a mustard seed of belief turns into an entire tree of trust.

But how does faith grow? How do we center our lives around what matters in life?

Stewardship
Acknowledging that all gifts are from God and meant for his glory and our common good.

Suffering
By suffering I mean any event in life that challenges, tests, refines, and clarifies our understanding of abundant life God promises.

How we respond to each of these (stewarding our gifts, not giving up in suffering) is the measure in which our faith will grow and our lives count.
