Rock Bridge Community Church
ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING - PART 1
In a world filled with uncertainty and pressure, "Anxious for Nothing" invites us to release our anxiety to God. Through Philippians 4:6-9, we'll see how prayer and gratitude replace our fears with a peace that surpasses all understanding. This series encourages us to confront our insecurities, share our struggles, and experience the life-giving rest that comes when we trust God with our worries.

NOVEMBER 10, 2024 | MATT EVANS
Philippians 4:4-7
Name “it” to tame it … → _______________
Have you prayed about it?
3 Forces Keeping Us in the Shallow End:
1) Prayer means trust … submission.
2) Fear of silence … [addicted to noise]
3) Fear of doing prayer wrong
1) We pray because God is “happifying” in Himself.
2) We pray in order to become.
3) We pray because we are overwhelmed (or insufficient).
We pray as we CAN, not as we CAN’T.
4) We pray because (sometimes with struggle) we trust God’s character.
5) We pray to experience God’s presence.
The “enemy” of presence = HURRY
God wants us to experience His love.
