If we take the lordship of Christ in our lives seriously, then we should seek to apply that lordship to our participation in politics.
We’re called to live in this culture, to make this culture better.
Voting is an option, praying is not!!!!!!
We have to view everything in the eyes of eternity!
Our responsibility to this world does not change because who wins the election on Tuesday!
The world should see our faith not only in our words but in our deeds, creating a powerful testimony to the love of Christ.
But you’re also a citizen of the greater eternal kingdom of God. You’ve been called, you’ve been chosen to be a citizen in that kingdom and so, your dominant allegiance is to the greater kingdom.
Where earthly authorities might ask for a portion, God calls us to give our whole selves.
Be careful what you put your hope in.
Our job, ultimately, is to love God and love people!
