Adoption wasn't God's second choice.
He chose us.
Before it all, He knew you and He chose you.
Before the foundation of the world, God chose us as his children through adoption.
If we’re going to take our adoption by God seriously then we also have to take adoption in our world seriously.
Adoption has always cost something and for one man, it cost Him everything.
Because of the work that Jesus did on the cross, God sees us as His righteous and holy sons and daughters.
Now what?
Care for orphans.
Care for one another's burdens.
Made in the image of God.
Live like Jesus.

God so desperately wants us as his sons and daughters the he sent Jesus to pay the price of our adoption.
Your adoption came with a high price, but it was generously paid for by King Jesus. Because of that, you get to be a child of God.
Prayer of Salvation
God,
I believe and accept that you have chosen me and sent your Son to die on the cross so that I could be adopted by you. I confess that I’m a sinner and need forgiveness, and I accept the gift of salvation that Jesus made possible when He died for my sins. I surrender and commit my life to following you, God, and am so thankful for the gift of being adopted into your family. Amen
