How do you look at work?

The secret to enjoying your work:

REMEMBER WHO YOUR BOSS IS.

V5 – “Obey your earthly masters… as you would obey Christ.”
V6 – “Obey them… like slaves of Christ.”
V7 – “Serve wholeheartedly as if you were serving the Lord.”
V8 – “because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does.”

V5 – “Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and sincerity of heart”
V6 – “doing the will of God from your heart”
V7 – “Serve wholeheartedly”

V5 – “sincerity of heart” HEART
V6 – “from your heart” SOUL
V7 – “wholeheartedly” ENTHUSIASM

The line between the sacred and the secular has been erased.

YOUR JOB IS PART OF GOD’S MASSIVE, COSMIC, ETERNAL PLAN.

1. Your work is one small piece of our calling to FILL & SUBDUE the earth.

2. Your work has the potential to CHANGE SOMEONE’S ETERNITY.

REMEMBER WHO YOUR BOSS IS.

If you’re not enjoying your job, keep in mind it’s a TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT.

REMEMBER WHO YOUR BOSS IS.

Rest assured – YOUR WORK MATTERS.

-Your work is one small piece of filling & subduing the earth.

- Your work has the potential to change someone’s eternity.

There are no ordinary people.
