How Satan tempts us:
1 – Highlight the short-term pleasure & diminish long-term misery
2 – Overemphasize the mercy of God – He will always forgive
3 – Compare one part of your life to another

How Satan accuses us:
1 – Gets us to look more at our sin versus our savior
2 – Causes us to obsess over past sins that caused major damage
3 – Makes us think God is severely disappointed in us

1- Know the strategies the devil uses – Temptation/Accusation

2- Know and rehearse the gospel of Jesus Christ
