1. The resurrection is the GUARANTEE that we have been freed from sin and will be spared of the PUNISHMENT we deserved.
2. Heaven is the place where Christ’s PRESENCE and rule is fully known and our FULFILLMENT is made complete.
3. The PROMISE of Heaven is worth more than anything we could LOSE in this life.
4. Nothing on EARTH can bear the weight of being paradise. Only God and His GLORY is enough to bear that hope.
5. If God is all good, then heaven POSSESSES all we could want. If hell is the absence of God, then it contains everything we could possibly DREAD.
Exodus 32:33, Psalm 69:28, Revelation 3:5 - References to “blot out from the Book of Life”
6. It’s not a question of how can a LOVING God send people to Hell. It’s how can a JUST God allow wicked people to Heaven.
7. God’s love for HUMANITY and His perfect justice for SIN meet only at the cross of Jesus Christ.
“There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, “They will be done,” and those to whom God says, in the end, “They will be done.” All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened.” -C.S. Lewis
8. The HORROR of the cross is the proof of HELL that Christ suffered to saved us from.
