HEAD–What does God want you to understand from this passage of
scripture? Using your sermon notes, identify and explain in your own
words the main point of what these verses are teaching. Was there
anything you didn’t understand?
HEART–As this truth was preached on Sunday, how was God moving in
your heart? (Examples-Did he bring conviction? Did he cause celebration? Did he call you to any acts of obedience? Did he clarify something that you need to actively believe?) Are there any themes that you noticed in the sermon that the Lord has also brought to your attention recently as you encounter his truth (Prayer, Bible reading, books, conversations with other believers, etc.)?
MOUTH–What will you share about what God was doing in your head
and heart that will encourage and edify your brothers and sisters at
Gospel Community and/or in other meaningful relationships? (Note: this
is not a discussion question for GC, but is meant to sharpen your Gospel
Community sermon discussion.)
HANDS AND FEET–
Relying on the Spirit, what will you do to act on what the Lord was doing
in your heart?
How will you disciple someone else in their dependence on and devotion
to Jesus in light of these realities?Who will this be?
When will you do this?

Offering and Family Needs
Giving and helping are both essential parts of being the church. We encourage you to decide in your heart how much you should give during this time, and then offer it cheerfully to the Lord as an act of worship. If you have a need, please let us know by connecting with your GC leader or emailing laura@oakhillfellowship.com with your need. In all of this we want to be an Acts 4 kind of church: Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. (Acts 4:32–35 ESV)
