3 Things that a Voting is Not:
1. A Vote is not a Valentine
1 Samuel 16:7 (ESV)7 the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
2. A Ballot Box is not a Mailbox
The goal isn’t to make a point. The goal is to make a difference.
3. A Selection is not a Sacrament I can’t vote because there’s no candidate I can support.
Jesus is not on the ballot so we have to get over it.

You are the salt of the earth. Matthew 5:13(ESV)
Your vote should be on the candidate that you believe will slow the decay most.
2. Voting is an opportunity to do good.
15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 (ESV)
“To know to do good and to not do it is sin...”
Choosing to not vote is sin.
3. Voting is an opportunity to act as an ambassador of Heaven.
20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. 2 Corinthians 5:20 (ESV)
