Don’t be anxious about anything.

We are not physical beings that have temporary spiritual experiences.
We are spiritual beings having a temporary physical experience.

2 Chronicles 20:1-2 //
After this, the armies of the Moabites, Ammonites, and some of the Meunitesdeclared war on Jehoshaphat. Messengers came and told Jehoshaphat, “A vast army from Edomis marching against you from beyond the Dead Sea.”

2 Chronicles 20:3-4 //
Jehoshaphat was terrified by this news and begged the Lord for guidance.He also ordered everyone in Judah to begin fasting. So people from all the towns of Judah came to Jerusalem to seek the Lord’s help.

Lord, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, no one can withstand you.

If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and we will cry out to you in distress, and you will hear us and save us.

For we have no power to face this vast army that's attacking us. We don't know what to do, but my eyes are on you.

Cast all of your anxiety on God because he cares for you.

Don't be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's. Go out and face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.
