We glorify someone by giving them the honor, Recognition, and praise they deserve.
“When he had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, ‘Father, the hour has come; Glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you.’”

How God the Father glorified Jesus:

1. By giving Him Authority over the whole world

“Glorify your Son… Since you have given him authority over all flesh.”
