Choose Life, Part 3
Introduction:

1. You want to compare each party’s platform to the Word of God. The Bible is our foundation.

Proverbs 30:5-6 NKJV

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 NKJV

*What does Gods Word say about this issue?

2. What is the role of government?

a. God created government but gave it a limited role.

1 Peter 2:13-17 NKJV

b. As law abiding citizens, our highest allegiance must be our obedience to God.

Romans 13:1 NKJV

Acts 4:19-20 NKJV

c. Laws will never change hearts, only the Word of God can do that.

Jeremiah 17:9-10 NKJV

Galatians 3:21 NKJV

3. Kingdom of God is our highest authority.

Kingdom of God - The Kingdom of God refers to God’s reign or rule over all creation, encompassing both a present spiritual reality and a future physical manifestation.

Key Scriptures:

Matthew 6:10 NKJV/TPT

Romans 14:17 TPT

*The Kingdom is not a physical place, but a dynamic reign of God. It is both present (already in the hearts of believers) and future (fully realized when Christ returns).

a. Present reality within you.

Luke 17:20-21 NKJV

b. How to enter the Kingdom of God?

John 3:3 NKJV

*Being “born again” through faith in Jesus allows us to enter this Kingdom.

c. We become citizens of the Kingdom.

Philippians 3:20 NKJV

*We are in this world but not of this world, our citizenship is in heaven. So, we eagerly wait and do His business until He returns.

d. The future fulfillment of the Kingdom.

Revelation 11:15 NKJV

*There will be a day when God's Kingdom is fully established on earth, with Christ as the reigning King.

e. The return of our King.

Matthew 24:30-31 NKJV

*Jesus will return to gather His people and establish His everlasting reign.

f. New Heaven and New Earth.

Revelation 21:1-4 NKJV

*In the future, God will create a new heaven and a new earth where He will dwell with His people. As law abiding citizens, our highest allegiance must be our obedience to God.
g. Living as Kingdom citizens today.
*As believers, we are called to prioritize God's Kingdom in our daily lives, trusting that everything else we need in life will be added to us. Ultimately, we want His righteousness to rule and reign in our lives.
h. Commanded to expand the Kingdom.
4. What issues are important to God?

a. Religious Freedom.

1. Jesus insisted on personal choice and non-coercion of religious beliefs.

2. Christians must be allowed to worship the Lord, and Him alone.

3. Primary reason why we pray for those in authority is so we can live quiet and peaceful lives.
*Who supports the first amendment and religious freedom for institutions and individuals. Who emphasizes the right to religious expression in schools and everyday life, and pledges to oppose religious discrimination.
b. Freedom of Speech.

1. We are commanded to speak the truth in love.

2. The opponents of the Gospel have always sought to restrict the speech of believers.
3. The Bible is filled with examples of believers speaking the truth to those in authority.

Did you know? Many of these organizations want to accuse you of using your freedom of speech and speaking the truth as a hate crime and have you prosecuted or canceled.

*Must fight for whoever promises to protect free speech, and end censorship of “lawful speech” by the government, by institutions, and by bureaucrats.

c. Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality.

1. God created marriage to be a lifetime covenant between one man and one woman.

*Pay attention to who promotes families and the sanctity of marriage. Who promises to cut funding for any school that teaches ”radical gender ideology” or inappropriate sexual content that includes all relationships as normal.
d. Sanctity of Life.

1. The value of human life comes from God’s creation of each individual person in His image.

2. Scripture declares the unborn to be babies with personality, specially designed by God.

3. God hates the shedding of innocent blood.
Did you know? Based on data from the CDC and the Guttmacher Institute, National Right to Life now estimates that 65,464,760 abortions have been performed in the United States since 1973.
*We have to fight for the right to life for all Americans supporting the 14th Amendment’s guarantee to life.
