To get DRUNK or HIGH is to exchange the controlling power of the SPIRIT for the controlling power of a SUBSTANCE.
1. DECIDE what life you want to live, and build HABITS around that.
2. HABITUALLY choose community with people who want to build the same kind of life.
3. HABITUALLY practice worship & thanksgiving.
LifeGroup & Discussion Questions

LEADERS: Co-ed groups may opt to discuss within gender groups at question 5. If your group participated in Rooted, Week 5's devotions are helpful.

1. Read aloud Ephesians 5:14-20. Take a moment to read the passage again in silence, reflect, and write one observation.

2. What does this passage teach us about God and people?

3. What scriptures help you understand the text? (i.e., Psalm 14; Proverbs 1:1-7; Romans 12:1-2; 2 Corinthians 4:1-6; Galatians 1:3-5; Colossians 1:9-14)

4. What resonated most from Adrian's message? Why so?

5. Write down a destructive habit that you have overcome. Share with your group where you are on that journey.

6. What positive habit(s) do you desire to grow?

7. As you close, pray for one another's formation of Christlike habits. Keep these for future follow-up.

For next week’s message: read and reflect on Ephesians 5:21-33.
