· True Biblical Forgiveness cannot be separated from the Kingdom or the King.
1) The Kingdom of God is an Alien Kingdom
· But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12,13)
· Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? (Gal 3:3)
· You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth…You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. (Mt 5:38, 44,45)

2) Jesus wants to make us like Him
· Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Col 3:13)
· Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Eph 4:32)

· Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Eph 4:32)
3) Forgiveness is of highest importance to the King
· For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Mt 6:14-15)
This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart. (Mt 18:35)

· You Reap what you Sow
· You Reap what you Sow
God knows, and He will bring Justice
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. (Romans 12:19)
For we know Him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:30)
Forgiveness shows better than anything who is in control of your life: you or Him.
· You Reap what you Sow
God knows, and He will bring Justice
God will do what we can’t do
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 15:57)

4) To forgive how Jesus forgives…remember what Jesus did
Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Col 3:13)
