Theme: Even when fear and doubt cause us to lose sight of Jesus during times of testing, He remains with us, offering rescue for those who call upon Him. Today’s passage reminds us that true faith is not the absence of fear but rather the choice to fix our eyes on Jesus and take a leap of faith. Through the disciples' experience on the Sea of Galilee, we learn that challenges are opportunities to experience the depth of Jesus' love and the transformative power of His grace.

Questions For Greater Understanding:
1. What happened before this passage?
2. What key events are still factors in this passage?
3. How were the main characters feeling and what they must have been thinking?
