A Reminder of What We’ve Confirmed

Both Biblical and extra-Biblical evidence for God, for ONE God, and also the individual deity and personhood of the Father AND the Son.

We’ve now CONFIRMED the attributes and personhood of the entire Trinity and how relate to each member. Let’s find out where we go from here.

1. To deny the God of the Bible defies logic and science.

2. Denial of the validity of scripture is to deny the validity of God.

3. All three persons of the Trinity are referred to as “God” in Scripture – and even Christ Himself claimed to be God.

4. All share the same attributes and divine nature.

5. We relate to the different persons of the Trinity in different ways.

Is There a Hierarchy / Subordination of the Trinity?

The Ontological Trinity (The Who):

The Economic Trinity (The What):

Same divine nature, essence, and glory – different functions.

To separate us from the one TRUE God.

A lack of knowledge of the Trinity causes disunity in the body of Christ.

Why the Attacks Fail

They require the cherry-picking of scripture.

They require the selective refutation of scripture.

They require the abandonment of logic.

As individuals and a body, we GATHER regularly to:

Worship our Lord
Fellowship in our Lord’s Presence
Intercede in prayer for each other and LIFT each other up
Learn more about our Lord & making disciples

As individuals and a body, we SHARE frequently to:

Bring the message of salvation to a lost and hopeless world
To displace the darkness of a sinful culture with the light of Christ Jesus
To hold the world and its rulers accountable to God’s standard of morality

As individuals and a body, we LIVE missionally to:

To bring glory to GOD’s name
To aid our message of salvation through our example of serving others
To standardize the practice loving others greater than ourselves
Set the example for the world and its rulers
