The Believer’s Relationship to the Law (7:14-25)
Paul saw three things in the believer’s relationship to the law:
1. The Law is Good
2. He is bad.
(“the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.”)
3. Sin dwells in his body.
The Law points out sin to bring us to repentance, and it goes on pointing out “sin that dwells” in us so that we may look to Jesus for ongoing deliverance and sanctification.

The Law can’t change you, but it does give you a picture of spiritual expectations.
The war we have with sin is not over - the battle will continue. But we can be certain that Jesus has already won the victory over sin, death, hell & the grave.
