1 Corinthians 13:8 NIV, …Love never fails.
If Love Never Fails, Then…
1. We go “________ ______” and invest love with reckless abandon.
2. We love without ________________, limitations, or restrictions.
1 John 4:7-8 NLT, Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Ephesians 3:17-19 TPT, Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!
3. We believe it so strongly we even invest love into our _______________!
Matthew 5:43-47 NLT, “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that.
Romans 5:8 NLT, But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.Romans 12:20-21 TPT, Our Scriptures tell us that if you see your enemy hungry, go buy that person lunch, or if he’s thirsty, get him a drink. Your generosity will surprise him with goodness. Don’t let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good.
4. We keep heavily investing despite the lack of _______________ or circumstances.
2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV, For we live by faith, not by sight.
5. We never give up because __________ never gave up on us!
2 Peter 3:9 NLT, The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.
