Seek ye 1st the Kingdom of God
Some say, pray more, put God 1st, Love God,
Make God priority in your life etc. Obey.
Spend more energy on God, putting God’s concerns above ours.
Place God as your first and foremost priority in life. Why you ask? Because of this… “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

What if we don’t know how His Kingdom operates?

Jesus is always comparing Kingdoms.

Church vs state.
According to this scripture, God never intended them to be apart. Kings & priest.

Priests represent God.
A king is an executer of justice.

To properly represent God on earth you have to be a priest & king.

From Moses thru all the prophets until John.
Moses preached the Law, prophets prophesized & then John started preaching the Kingdom.

A kingdom has:
1.A king
2.A territory.
3.Citizens.
Ephesians 2:19 (NIV)
Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household,

4.Constitution.
5.Laws. Rm. 8 2 Law of Life in Christ Jesus.
6.Government. Which means it has a authority structure in it.
7.Privileges. Every citizen has certain privileges because they are a citizen.
8.Code of ethics. Certain things you’re not allowed to do. (Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you). Love is the currency. God said, you can’t say I love God & hate your brother.
9.Army.

After the resurrection Jesus gave them an important message.

They were asking Jesus if He was going to overthrow Caesar.
The disciples were taught & raised that the Messiah was going to come & overthrow the Roman empire & set up an earthly kingdom like David had.

The Holy Spirit is one of the main keys of the Kingdom.
Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. The Holy Spirit is the One that connects us to heaven. Our job is to bring God’s influence from heaven to earth.
